Due Diligence

Due diligence must form part of the risk management framework of an FSP. It is a process where advisors conduct an investigation and analysis of a prospective business entity, such as a product provider.

An advisor will need to do an investigation that covers different areas of the business such as business, products, financials, legality, operations, technology or environment.
