The Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) has recently launched a WhatsApp channel. The one-way broadcast channel is intended to provide followers with regular information and updates on FIC Act compliance guidelines and other information about how the FIC contributes to the fight against financial crime in South Africa.
The FIC will share regulatory updates, compliance guidelines, videos, and other information to help followers stay updated on communication from the FIC.
Accountable institutions, businesses and the public can join the FIC’s WhatsApp channel by scanning the QR code or clicking the link on the FIC Notice.
