The Council for Medical Schemes has published Circular 25 of 2023 which sets out amendments to the fees payable in terms of Regulations 31 and 32 of the Medical Schemes Act.
These relate to fees payable to register a medical scheme, accredit an administrator, managed care organisation and brokers, change the name of a medical scheme, and penalties. It also states the amount payable upon the renewal of accreditation of entities.
The new rates are effective from 23 June 2023.
