Licence application period for Crypto Asset FSPs open
Persons rendering a financial service in relation to crypto assets, must apply to the FSCA to be authorised as an FSP between 1 June 2023 and 30 November 2023.
FICA Risk and Compliance Return
A reminder that the following accountable institutions must comply with Directive 7 of 2023 by submitting a FICA Risk and Compliance Return by 31 July 2023:
- Item 11 – Credit Providers
- Item 14 – The South African Postbank Limited
- Item 20 – High Value Goods Dealers
- Item 21 – The South African Mint Company
- Item 22 – Crypto Asset Service Providers
