As part of its continued commitment to improving service delivery, the National Credit Regulator (NCR) has released updated contact details for its various departments. All registered credit industry participants are encouraged to refer to Circular 03 of 2025 for the full list of these revised contact points.
The NCR urges all registrants to use the appropriate contact details when submitting queries, requests, or complaints. This will ensure that all matters are handled efficiently and within the expected turnaround times.
Where a dedicated email address has been provided, stakeholders must use that address for communication. Queries sent to personal email addresses when a dedicated email exists will not be processed unless the matter has already been escalated due to a lack of response within the specified timeframe. The use of personal email addresses is intended strictly for escalations and not for initial contact.
To further prevent delays in resolution, stakeholders are reminded not to copy all listed NCR contacts in their communication. Instead, they should direct their query to the most relevant department or official as outlined in the circular.
There are six separate departments, each with specific mandates in respect of the credit industry and the approach adopted is designed to streamline the NCR’s internal processes, enhance response times, and ensure that every query is addressed by the appropriate team. These departments are: Debt Counselling, Credit Provider Compliance, Registrations, Call Centre and Complaints, Investigations and Enforcement and Education and Communication.
For the complete list of updated contact information, turnaround times and escalation details, please refer to Circular 03 of 2025, available on the NCR’s official website.
