Renew PI Cover
FSPs are reminded to check the status of their Professional Indemnity (PI) cover and to ensure that PI cover is renewed well before the renewal date to avoid a situation where cover has expired. FSPs should take the opportunity of renewal to review their risks and ensure that they have the right type of cover and the right amount of cover in place.
Annual Financial Statements with Financial Year End of 31 December 2024
FSPs whose financial year end was 31 December 2024 must ensure that their Annual Financial Statements are submitted to the FSCA by 30 April 2025. FSPs which are required to submit Annexure A (FAIS Notice 82 of 2015) together with their Annual Financial Statements, are reminded to do so.
It remains the responsibility of the FSP and Key Individual to ensure that these statements are submitted within the prescribed period. Failure to do so can result in the FSP’s licence being suspended and a penalty imposed.
If you are unable to submit your Annual Financial Statements by the due date, you may request an extension. Requests for extensions must be submitted at least 15 days before the submission date to the FSCA.
CPD Clock is Ticking – Deadline 31 May 2025
FSPs, Key Individuals and Representatives are reminded that the deadline to comply with the required number of CPD hours is 31 May 2025. Masthead offers various accredited CPD activities.
